about
Given my start in the film industry at the age of 17 after film school, I started working on films like "Dreamscape" and "Splash" and was doing special effects like wind, rain, snow, and pyrotechnics. After 5 years of floor effects, I moved on to props and miniatures, working in such industry houses as Wonderworks, Neotech, The Hand Prop Room, New Deal Studios and Landmark Entertainment as builder and designer for film and television.
I then moved onto the hit cult TV show "Babylon 5" as prop builder, designer and Propmaster for 5 years. From there I designed all the props on the computer using Photoshop, Painter and Lightwave.
Designing and creating my own art on the computer, I ventured into digital matte painting and concept art. Starting at Digital Domain and working for many other visual effects companies, I was building up my portfolio to continue working in film, television and commercials up to this day.
My passion in film production and visual effects have sent me to places such as Japan, London and Australia and I look forward to traveling to other countries and learning more of the tricks of the digital trade to this day but keeping my old school history in my curriculum.
